Mr. Willie Benton with over 47 years in the mortuary profession; is presently the owner and Director of Bailey’s Funeral Home, Mr. W. Benton started in the Funeral Home Service since 1967 at the age of sixteen with the Palmer Funeral Home, in Sumter South Carolina. Mr. W. Benton graduated with a BA Degree in business administration. He also graduated from American Academy in 1975 as a certified Funeral Director Embalmer. Later he worked with J.L. Jones Funeral. After the passing of Mr. Jones (founder of Bailey’s Funeral Home), Mr. Edward Bailey became the new owner and rename it Bailey Funeral Home. After several years managing Bailey’s Funeral Home, Mr. Benton who was employed at Gilmore Funeral Home for several years as Funeral Director Embalmer; later at Trade Embalmer Service and several other Funeral Homes where he conducted embalming services for several years. In 1997 Mr. Benton Worked as a business associate with Mr. Bailey; after Bailey’s departure Mr. Benton purchase the funeral service from Mr. Bailey and became the new manager/owner and director. The Bailey’s F.H. (Aka: Benton Funeral Services) provides affordable services for over 80 years in the New York City five boroughs and surrounding metro area.
